Allen Iverson as it turns out is not the answer for the Knicks. According to ESPN's Chris Sheridan http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4674184, a Knicks team official has said that the Knick will not be making an offer to the free agent guard.
In my opinion, I think the Knicks want to take some time to see how Eddie Curry fits in with the team and how they play with him in the lineup. Curry in his season debut had 10 points in 11 minutes.
There don't seem to be a lot of teams interested in Iverson at the moment and so it is possible that he could still be available in a few weeks time.
